Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you (the merchant operating a store) and the operator of this platform (“we”, “the platform”). By creating an account you agree to them. If you are shopping at a store built on this platform, your purchase is from that store’s merchant — see “Merchants sell, we host” below, and that store’s own policies.

1. The service

The platform lets you build and host an online storefront: a visual page editor, product catalog, order management, and related commerce tools. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account and store.
• One person or legal entity per account; you must be able to form a binding contract.

3. Subscription and billing

• New stores start on a free trial; continuing after the trial requires a paid monthly subscription, billed through Stripe. Current pricing is shown at checkout inside the dashboard.
• You can cancel any time from the billing portal; access to paid features (such as publishing) ends when the subscription lapses.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Merchants sell, we host

Every store on this platform is owned and operated by its merchant. The merchant — not the platform — is the seller of record for everything sold in their store: they set prices, fulfil orders, handle returns, and are responsible for the legality of their products and the accuracy of their store’s content and policies. Card payments settle directly to the merchant’s own Stripe account via Stripe Connect.

5. Payments

Payment processing is provided by Stripe and governed by the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. To accept card payments you must complete Stripe onboarding; Stripe may require identity and bank verification. Stripe’s processing fees apply to each transaction.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload — product data, images, text, and page designs. You grant us the license needed to host, display, and back up that content in order to run your storefront. You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload.

7. Acceptable use

• No illegal products or services, and no content that infringes others’ rights.
• No deceptive commerce: misleading pricing, fake reviews, or impersonation.
• No abuse of the platform: interference with other stores, scraping shopper data, or circumventing security or rate limits.

We may suspend or remove stores that violate these rules.

8. Shopper data

Data about your shoppers (customers, orders, addresses) belongs to your relationship with them. We process it on your behalf to run your store, as described in the Privacy Policy. You agree to use shopper data lawfully and honour shoppers’ privacy rights, including deletion requests.

9. Availability and disclaimers

The service is provided “as is”. We work to keep it fast and available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and we are not liable for lost profits or indirect damages. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the subscription fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where practicable. On termination we will make reasonable efforts to let you export your store data for a limited period.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the dashboard or by email. Continuing to use the platform after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
